you interact with SafePorter as an organization or use the SafePorter Tools (our websites or the client-side DataProtected application);
you interact with us related to your engagement with the SafePorter Tools; or
we perform any other activities that form part of the operation of the SafePorter Tools and websites (safeportersecure.com, ourdataprotected.com and mydataprotected.com)
If you are a survey or feedback respondent: If you provide information to us through MyDataProtected you can correct, amend, or delete you information at any time using your SafePorter ID through mydataprotected.com
You can request a copy of your personal data through a SafePorter Data Subject Access Request via the organization you have a relationship with who sent you the survey and a SafePorter ID and we will respond to you directly through the contact information you provide in that form. (You have to go through that organization because SafePorter does not know who you are. We do not have your name or email or any way to verify your identity.)
If you are an Admin Portal user: You can delete your administrative account at ourdataprotected.com at any time, but will no longer have access to the Admin Portal.
How do we use your personal data?
We use Personal Data to:
- provide survey participants with access to
our survey and feedback portal services;
-to provide aggregated data to the organization
that designated you as a survey participant;
-to provide client admin access to client dashboards for aggregated data and insights;
- to ensure that our services are working properly, understand the usage and login frequency to our dashboards and to prevent attempts to break in our systems.
Children under the age of 18 are not allowed to use our services.
If you are under 18 years old, we would need your parents’ or guardian’s consent to process your data and no SafePorter client should have designated you as a survey or feedback participant.
What happens when you create an admin account?
When you register or are provided an admin portal or client-side application account we will verify that your organization has provided your e-mail address as a valid Admin portal user. If you need to change or delete that information at any time you can do so in the client side application or from "My Account" on ourdataprotected.com.
What happens when you submit a survey or feedback via mydataprotected.com?
When you submit a survey or feedback on mydataprotected.com your data stays in the region designated by your organization. Aggregated numbers or summary information indicating percentages only are transferred to the client Admin Portal that can be accessed by designated Admin Portal users of the organization that assigned and distributed the survey to you.
How we protect your Personal Data?
All of SafePorter's tools have been built on and with adherence to privacy-by-design and zero trust security principals. We protect survey participant data by keeping it isolated to the region collected, only sharing aggregated data and insights with clients, avoiding conveying inter-sectional diversity data to clients even in the aggregate, and by withholding aggregate and insight data that could identify individuals.
If we make any material changes to the manner in which we process and use your personal data and we have your contact information, we will contact you to let you know about the change.
